What is a PTZ Camera?
The Golens V44N is a high-performance Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) speed camera designed to deliver comprehensive coverage and pinpoint accuracy for large-scale security surveillance. Equipped with a 5 Megapixel Ultra HD resolution sensor (Sony335 + Hi3516E) and a 20x Optical Zoom lens (4.7mm–96.3mm), this camera captures crystal-clear video and intricate details over long distances without quality degradation.
Featuring smart AI-powered Human Detection and Auto-Tracking, the camera can identify people among moving objects and automatically follow human subjects across its field of view. Real-time notifications, app alerts, and email snapshots are sent instantly when line-crossing or area intrusion is detected. With built-in Two-Way Audio, you can listen and communicate directly through the camera using the Seetong mobile app on iOS and Android.
Built for demanding outdoor environments, the V44N includes an IP66 weatherproof metal housing, 6000V transient lightning protection, 6 powerful IR LEDs, and 2 laser lights providing up to 100–120 meters of long-range night vision. It supports POE+ (Power over Ethernet) for clean single-cable setup, local onboard SD storage up to 512GB, and seamless ONVIF / P2P integration with third-party software like Blue Iris, Milestone, iSpy, and NVR systems.

Golens strictly follows Government of India’s data privacy guidelines. All user data is fully encrypted and stored securely on local Indian servers, ensuring that your personal information and device activity never leave the country.
Is my data safe with Golens?+
Absolutely. Data security is one of our top priorities. All communication between the lock, the app, and the server is end-to-end encrypted. We do not share or sell your data to any third party.
Who has access to my lock data or footage?+
Only you and the users you authorize via the app can access the lock’s activity logs or live camera feed. No one from Golens or any third party can view or control your lock or footage without your explicit permission.
What happens to my data if I uninstall the app or stop using the device?+
You can delete your data anytime from the app settings. Once deleted, it is permanently removed from our servers. Golens follows strict data retention and deletion policies in compliance with Indian cybersecurity norms.

Is installation available in my city?+
Golens provides paid installation service in over 140 cities across India. If we are not yet in your city, we are actively expanding our network. You can also get the lock installed by any local carpenter—our support team is always available to guide them. Most locks are designed for quick setup in under 5 minutes.
What are the installation charges?+
Installation charges typically range between ₹1,000 to ₹1,500, depending on the location. If the installation site is outside our regular service areas, we will share the exact charges after location confirmation.
What are the minimum requirements to install a Golens lock?+
The basic requirements are:

At least 3-inch gap between mesh and main door (if applicable)

How easy is it to use the lock after installation?+
Golens locks are designed for user-friendly operation. You can easily unlock via fingerprint, password, card, app, mechanical key, or face recognition (depending on the model). The Golens mobile app allows global access, user management, and real-time control.
What if I face an emergency while using the lock?+
Emergency situations are rare with Golens locks, as every lock comes with mechanical key access. Just make sure to keep one mechanical key outside the locked area to avoid any inconvenience.
How do I check battery status and charge the lock?+
- Most models show battery percentage via front LED or mobile app.
- You’ll receive low battery warnings in advance.
- Rechargeable locks can be charged with a standard 12W charger.(3–4 hours)
- In case of full battery discharge, use a power bank via the emergency charging port outside the door.

All Golens smart locks come with a standard 2-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects. Our team provides onsite support in 140+ cities and full part replacement in areas where service is unavailable.
Can I extend my warranty?+
We do not recommend extended warranty, as our products undergo strict quality testing. In case of any issues after the warranty, spare parts are available at very economical prices, and service support is always available.
What happens after the warranty period?+
Even after the warranty ends, Golens continues to support its customers. We ensure availability of spare parts for at least 5 years from the last unit sold, with reliable and affordable service options.
