    Absolutely. Data security is one of our top priorities. All communication between the lock, the app, and the server is end-to-end encrypted. We do not share or sell your data to any third party.
    Who has access to my lock data or footage?+
    Only you and the users you authorize via the app can access the lock’s activity logs or live camera feed. No one from Golens or any third party can view or control your lock or footage without your explicit permission.
    What happens to my data if I uninstall the app or stop using the device?+
    You can delete your data anytime from the app settings. Once deleted, it is permanently removed from our servers. Golens follows strict data retention and deletion policies in compliance with Indian cybersecurity norms.

    Is installation available in my city?+
    Golens provides paid installation service in over 140 cities across India. If we are not yet in your city, we are actively expanding our network. You can also get the lock installed by any local carpenter—our support team is always available to guide them. Most locks are designed for quick setup in under 5 minutes.
    What are the installation charges?+
    Installation charges typically range between ₹1,000 to ₹1,500, depending on the location. If the installation site is outside our regular service areas, we will share the exact charges after location confirmation.
    What are the minimum requirements to install a Golens lock?+
    The basic requirements are:
    Minimum door thickness of 32 mm
    At least 3-inch gap between mesh and main door (if applicable)
    Golens locks are compatible with wooden, steel, single, and double doors.
    How easy is it to use the lock after installation?+
    Golens locks are designed for user-friendly operation. You can easily unlock via fingerprint, password, card, app, mechanical key, or face recognition (depending on the model). The Golens mobile app allows global access, user management, and real-time control.
    What if I face an emergency while using the lock?+
    Emergency situations are rare with Golens locks, as every lock comes with mechanical key access. Just make sure to keep one mechanical key outside the locked area to avoid any inconvenience.
    How do I check battery status and charge the lock?+
    • Most models show battery percentage via front LED or mobile app.
    • You’ll receive low battery warnings in advance.
    • Rechargeable locks can be charged with a standard 12W charger.(3–4 hours)
    • In case of full battery discharge, use a power bank via the emergency charging port outside the door.
